Being Known Without Feeling Seen
Wimberley is a Hill Country community in Hays County, south of Dripping Springs along Ranch Road 12, with Woodcreek as its neighbor. In a small community where people know each other, asking for support may feel complicated. You might want to talk without wondering how the conversation fits into the version of you others recognize. I welcome the uncertainty behind that wish. You do not need to explain why privacy matters before we can begin discussing what has been weighing on you.
Privacy Beyond Your Usual Circles
I offer in-person sessions by appointment at FUSE WorkSpace, 13341 W Hwy 290, Austin, TX 78737, on West Highway 290 in Southwest Austin, for those who want to make the trip. The private room is outside your town and separate from your everyday roles. If you prefer to stay home, secure telehealth is available while you are located anywhere in Texas. We can discuss whether you have a private place for video conversations and which setting you would prefer.
The Effort Behind Being Capable
Perhaps you keep your commitments while carrying a worry you rarely mention. Perhaps you feel irritated with yourself for needing rest when so much remains unfinished. I am interested in what that effort feels like from the inside, not only in what you manage to accomplish. We can examine the expectations you live with, the feelings you put aside, and the moments when being dependable leaves little room for being honest about your own needs.
Letting the Unfinished Thought Be Heard
You may have rehearsed what to say and still find yourself without words when someone asks how you are. In our sessions, I will not ask you to turn that uncertainty into a polished explanation. We can follow a thought, pause over a feeling, or return to something that was difficult to name. Your responsibilities remain part of the picture, but they do not have to be the only part we consider. I want to hear what matters to you beneath them.
Words You Do Not Have to Translate
I offer counseling in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. A concern that is easy to discuss professionally may feel different when you speak about it personally, and you can choose the language you want to use. That choice is available whether you live in Wimberley or Woodcreek and whether we meet in person or by secure telehealth in Texas. I will make room for how you describe your experience, rather than ask you to make it sound more orderly than it feels.
