A Bit More About Me...

I would be hovering around corporate offices years ago, consulting clients on complex communications and branding strategies, when I realized how fascinating and challenging the human psyche is. Busy people engaged in all sorts of responsibilities would constantly debate among challenges, confidence, serenity, and accuracy.

I started to explore the beliefs that were leading people's actions, more or less assuredly and effectively. I decided then to exercise my very principles of humanness, passion, and depth, acquiring academic knowledge and acumen in conducting self-growth conversations for years until I became a professional therapist in 2023.

My mission is to accompany clients in their pursuit of mental serenity. I am a firm believer that mental soundness revolves around our capacity to uncover and acknowledge the self, develop mechanisms to cope with personal flaws, reinforce strengths, and sharpen relational skills.

Empathy, excellence, enthusiasm, and committed service lead all I do.

Through individual or group talk therapy, my clients and I work together to identify the impacts of past and current distress while reframing limiting thoughts and learning adaptive behaviors. In my practice, I coach clients in achieving self-valorization, implementing problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

I have always been curious about the human mind and soul, and the subtleties of individuals in challenging social settings. Before becoming a mental health practitioner, I was an ICF-accredited executive, leadership, and career management coach. Previously, I provided communications and behavioral training and consulting services to global corporations and SMEs.

Along with a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling, I hold graduate diplomas in Positive Psychology, Business & Marketing, and Organizational Change.

I am a multicultural practitioner based in Austin, Texas. Originally from South America (Venezuela), I am an adventurer who relocated internationally five times. One of the gems I have acquired in life is the ability to communicate in different languages, English, Spanish, Portuguese, and a bit of French. My interactions with a vast variety of people and cultures have nurtured my fondness for human nature.
